Feng Shui Energy Down the Drain

Feng Shui Money Down the DrainI know this sounds funny, but keep your toilet lids closed.

You don’t want your Feng Shui energy going down the drain!

Even sink drains can cause a problem for the same reason.

Even just having a toilet in many places in your home can impact various aspects of your life.

If your bathroom is in the Wealth corner of your home, this might mean that you can’t hold onto money very well.

Your career might be impacted if you have a toilet near the front wall of your house.  How about a bathroom in your Love & Relationships corner?  You get the picture.

Feng Shui Red ToiletHow about cures for all of the ills that a bathroom creates?

Use a red toilet cover.

I have even seen some people paint the underside of the toilet seat red or the color of the appropriate Feng Shui color.

Place convex Bagua mirrors under drains.

Wrap red duct tape or tie red strings or ribbons around drain pipes.

And don’t forget to do the same in your business.

If you have toilets without lids inside of your office, perhaps that’s something you should add.

Fix the pilot light on the stove.

Check, clean, and repair the fireplace.

Add some fire element items in your immediate environment.
Be careful, though.
If you have too many fire elements in your surroundings, add some wood elements to fuel the fire or you can add some water elements to cool down the fire a little as well.

Feng Shui Cures for a House at a T-Intersection

Feng Shui T-Intersection

If you have one of these street signs in front of your house, it can be very bad for your Feng Shui.

You have to think of a street as a river that runs in front of your house, and that river’s water is representative of Chi, or Feng Shui energy.

You always want the energy to run in a calm and peaceful way in, around, and through the house or office you are in.

So, if your house is at the top center of the “T” in a T-intersection, energy is going to run into that T-intersection just like water hitting a blocked off river bank before sweeping off to the sides.

This creates very aggressive energy, which can start to tear away at your home and your well-being.

If you are looking into buying a house in a T-intersection, you might want to seriously reconsider.

Fortunately, there are ways to cure this aggressive energy if you are already living in a home at a T-intersection.

Feng Shui at a T-Intersection

This sign should actually mean, “Keep Out!”

Such ideas include adding very thick and strong guardrails in front of the house.

This will not only help slow down the Chi, but will also prevent cars from crashing into your home!

For personalized advice on how to avoid homes with bad Feng Shui, find out how Jessie can help at her Feng Shui for Buying Real Estate page.

If you are already in a home at a T-intersection, get an In-Home Feng Shui Consultation today!

Don’t ignore this advice!  T-intersections can be quite serious.

For even more information on lasting Feng Shui cures, read up on my more recent T-intersection post and my cul-de-sac post, which also applies to T-intersections.

Plants and Feng Shui

Feng Shui Plants -Money Tree or CrassulaIf you have dead plants in your home, throw them out!

If you are trying to bring them back to life and they don’t grow back within a few weeks, don’t hesitate to throw them out!

Dead plants, dried flowers, and empty pots are not good Feng Shui.

They represent death and weaken the energy in your house or office.

If it doesn’t look good, it’s not good to have it in your house!

Add some life to your home with living plants that represent what you want and put them in the right places.

Adding a money plant like a Crassula (pictured right) in your Wealth & Prosperity corner, for instance, would be a much better step than adding a desert cactus in your Love / Marriage / Relationships corner.

For information on how Jessie can provide some personal assistance, check out her In-Home Feng Shui Consultations page.

Good luck bringing life back to your life!
