Add Some Feng Shui Color Into Your Life!
Colors can be visually stimulating as well as representative of an emotional state.
Colors can excite, enhance, or even disturb the energy around you.
It can be as simple as if you would like to be creative, try adding some yellow into your life.
It could be clothes, wall color, or a picture of something yellow.
Specific Colors
Want to be noticed? Add some Red.
Knowledge? Blue.
Just look around and see what colors you want to represent you.
If you don’t want to make a dramatic change of painting your house a certain color, why don’t you just try it out with some paintings or pictures for the walls?
Don’t be afraid to use color!
If you don’t like it, then you can always paint over it or change out the pictures.
Perhaps you can start by bringing in some colorful fresh flowers into your living room and see how those colors make you feel.
To learn more about how colors play a part in Feng Shui, I suggest you read through my free information on the Feng Shui Bagua.

Use Feng Shui to Improve Your Sleep
Look around your bedroom.
What do you see?
How does it make you feel?
Does it look peaceful, relaxing, and calming?
Or, do you see it as a place where you can read, catch up on social media, watch TV, and finish up your work?
Your bedroom should be a place where you can unwind and recharge for the next day; not a place where you work or study.
Serenity; Not Energy
The biggest issue I find with my clients who have trouble sleeping is that they have a huge plasma TV in their bedroom, stacks of books or a cellphone on the bedside table, or use the underside of their bed for storage.
Remove those items from your bedroom and create a warm, welcoming, relaxing bedroom that you want to SLEEP in – not where you want to work.
Electronic devices are a no-no in general. The only exceptions should be soft lighting and a white noise sound machine.
Light disturbs sleep patterns, so I suggest blackout curtains and other methods to prevent light in your space while you sleep.
If you are a student who has to study in your one bedroom, put your books away when you are done with them.
For instance, put those books in a bookshelf or in your backpack, where you don’t have to look at them when you are laying in your bed.
Don’t study in your bed. Your bed should be a place for you to recharge your energy and not a place to stimulate your brain.
Bed Placement
Be careful of the placement of your bed.
Make sure that your bed is not straight in line with your doorway into the room.
Also, make sure that the reflection of mirrors do not intersect your bed.

Be Powerful With Office Feng Shui
You spend most of your waking hours in your office space. So why not Feng Shui it to maximize many aspects of your life, not just your career?
Increase Productivity
You can increase your productivity by having your desk facing the best direction and by having a few well-placed elements in your office.
Doing so can bring you power, respect, and offer new opportunities as well. This is called the Command Position.
You can even Feng Shui your cubicle!
Protect Yourself
Of utmost importance is to make sure your back is not turned to the office door.
If you can make sure you have a clear view of the door, you can see who is coming into your office or to your cubicle.
If your back is turned to the door and there is no way you can change the position of your desk, then add a mirror in front of you so you can see the door that is behind you.
The placement and inclusion of objects in your office is just as important here as it is in your home.
“Protect yourself” with some tall plants or short trees over your shoulders in the back of your office. Plants help absorb overwhelming energy, including electrical EMF signals. Money plants are best, as you might imagine.
Ensure the back of your chair is tall to provide the feeling of additional protection.
Be Powerful
Remember those “power ties”? They weren’t that far off base.
Include some powerful images or awards on the back wall across from your door. This is your Fame & Reputation area.
Traveling too much for work? Make sure there isn’t a map or globe in your Travel area.
Desk Feng Shui
Your desk even has its own Feng Shui. To determine the direction of the Bagua over your desk, pretend that your chair is the front door.
As such, make sure to keep business cards of your customers and vendors in the drawer to your right, the Helpful People section of your desk.
Also, ensure that your desk has a modesty panel to prevent anyone seeing your legs.

Clutter and Feng Shui
Cleaning: it’s not just for Spring.
If you want real changes in your life, and you want something “new” to show up in your life, throw away the “old”.
According to Feng Shui, clutter is very bad.
We all have a box of stuff that we keep saying “I might need that later… when I get a bigger place… When I lose weight…”
If you don’t need it regularly and it’s cluttering up your home, throw it out!
Especially throw out the things that don’t make you feel good; things that remind you of sad times or pictures from a previous bad relationship.
By doing so, you are creating new space for something new and exciting to come in.
If throwing out the clutter doesn’t drastically improve your situation, you need to contact me right now to inquire about a Feng Shui Space Clearing or a Virtual Feng Shui Consultation.

Feng Shui Energy Down the Drain
I know this sounds funny, but keep your toilet lids closed.
You don’t want your Feng Shui energy going down the drain!
Even sink drains can cause a problem for the same reason.
Even just having a toilet in many places in your home can impact various aspects of your life.
If your bathroom is in the Wealth corner of your home, this might mean that you can’t hold onto money very well.
Your career might be impacted if you have a toilet near the front wall of your house. How about a bathroom in your Love & Relationships corner? You get the picture.
How about cures for all of the ills that a bathroom creates?
Use a red toilet cover.
I have even seen some people paint the underside of the toilet seat red or the color of the appropriate Feng Shui color.
Place convex Bagua mirrors under drains.
Wrap red duct tape or tie red strings or ribbons around drain pipes.
And don’t forget to do the same in your business.
If you have toilets without lids inside of your office, perhaps that’s something you should add.
