Feng Shui and Avatar: How the World of Pandora is a Living Example of Balanced Energy

I just saw Avatar: Way of Water in the theater and it got me thinking about feng shui (like everything does). Obviously, Pandora is a fictional place, but I thought it would be a fun exercise to make some correlations like I did previously with Star Wars.

If you’re a fan of the Avatar series, you may have noticed that the world of Pandora is a beautiful and harmonious place, filled with natural wonders and balance. In fact, the principles of feng shui can be seen throughout the world of Avatar, as the indigenous Na’vi people live in harmony with their environment and the natural world. In the world of Avatar, the flow of energy is seen through the connection between the Na’vi people and the natural world, as well as the use of the life force energy known as “Eywa.” Was Eywa intended by the creators of Avatar to be the fictional representation of feng shui Qi?
