It’s a Beautiful (Feng Shui) Day
Feng Shui the sounds that surround you.
Seriously.
And I’m not necessarily talking about the sounds of waves, wind chimes and bells.
Everyday I Have The Blues
What music do you enjoy listening to?
Do you actually know the lyrics of the songs you like? Make sure the songs you listen to not only have a harmonious sound, but also have lyrics that are upbeat and encouraging.
In other words, don’t surround yourself with music about cheating boyfriends, being alone and sad, drinking your life away, etc.
It’s okay to indulge in such songs once in a while, but don’t let them be the anthem of your life.
Remember that the sounds and words you hear will subconsciously define who you are and the life path you lead.
Beautiful Day
Every morning when I leave my house to drop off my son at school, the first thing he says is, “It’s a beautiful day, mommy!” So, every morning we listen to “Beautiful Day” by U2. No matter the weather, we start the day singing, “It’s a Beautiful Day! Don’t let it get away!”
For many of us, this song can be fitting. As Bono himself explained it, this upbeat track is about losing everything but still finding joy in what one has.
